한양대학교 경상대학 응용경제학과

자기소개

현재 한양대학교 경상대학 경제학부 및 일반대학원 응용경제학과의 교수로 재직중인 구랑가다스(Gouranga G. Das) 교수는 Jadavpur University를 졸업하고 동대학에서 경제학 석사를, Jawaharlal Nehru University에서 경제학 박사학위를 취득하였고, Monash University에서 경제학 박사학위를 취득하였다. 이후 미국 플로리다 대학에서 연구교수로 활동했다.

 

다스 교수는 성장과 개발 문제를 탐구하는 개발경제학자다. 그의 중점 연구 과제는 다음과 같다.

 

• 1. 성장과 기술 변화
• 2. 무역, 세계 경제 통합, 그리고 기술 혁신의 전파
• 3. 인적 자본 형성, 기술(skill) 습득과 과학 기술(technology) 채용
• 4. 무역 흐름을 규제하는 세계 환경 정책과 법규의 흐름속 무역, 과학기술, 그리고 환경의 결합.

 

그의 연구는 경제 발전에 관한 경제 정책 문제에 집중되어있다. 특히, 그는 무역의 개별적 측면, 무역의 징후, 그리고 국가간 무역의 차등적 영향(differential impacts)의 내부 요인들을 전문적으로 다룬다. 그의 연구는 기술 보급, 흡수 능력, 융합과 융합 부족의 요인들, 그리고 만회 문제, 숙련-비숙련 노동력, 생태과학기술-생태무역과 식량 안보, 식량 생산성간의 균형과 같은 문제들을 다룬다.

 

현재 그의 연구는 이전 연구의 맥락에서 여러 종류의 기업들, 기업들의 근원, 그리고 여러 기업들의 생산성 차이에까지 분야를 넓히고 있다

예 : 숙련 –비숙련 노동자의 봉급 차이와 무역 대 기술; 무역과 부패; 부동산 거래와 개발 문제; 포괄적인 성장(선택적 측면)과 지속 가능성의 문제.

 

국가들내외의 다양한 경제 요인들의 상호작용을 탐구하기위해, 그는 AGE(Applied General Equilibrium) 모형, CGE(Computable General Equilibrium)모형 뿐만 아니라 이론적 모형들도 이용한다. 그는 활발한 연구자이자 the leading Global Trade Model(Global Trade Analysis Project-GTAP), Center for Global Trade Analysis, Purdue University in Illinois USA, 그리고 Center of Policy Studies, Victoria University (previously located at Monash University), Melbourne Australia의 회원이다.

현재 한양대학교 경상대학 경제학부의 교수로 재직 중인 김용규 교수는 1982년 서울대학교 경제학부를 졸업하고 컬럼비아 대학교에서 경제학 석사 및 박사학위(1992년)를 취득하였다. 이후 약 10년동안 정보통신정책연구원에서 정보통신산업연구실장, 통신방송정책연구실장 등을 역임하면서 통신 및 정보통신 정책분야의 연구를 수행해 왔다. 2001년부터 한양대학교에 재직해 왔으며 담당 강의 과목은 미시경제학, 산업조직론, 정보통신경제론, 법과 경제학 등이다.

자기소개

현재 한양대학교 경제학부에 재직 중인 하준경 교수는 서울대학교 경제학과를 졸업하고 미국 브라운대학교에서 경제학 박사학위를 취득하였다. 한국은행 금융경제연구원 및 한국금융연구원에서 거시경제와 금융을 연구한 바 있다.

 

Journal of Money Credit and Banking, Asian Economic Journal, 경제분석, 한국경제의 분석 등 국내외 학술지에 다수의 논문을 발표한 바 있고, 거시경제, 연구개발 및 인적자본 투자, 경제성장과 관련해서 활발한 연구활동을 하고 있다.
